A.O. Smith Water
Products Company has appointed Jane M. Sanford to the
position of vice president-global human resources. She
also will be a member of the Water Products Leadership Team.
A.O. Smith Water
Products Company has announced the appointment of Jane M. Sanford to the
position of vice president-global human resources.
In her new
position, Sanford will be responsible for the global human resources function
including strategy development, employment, compensation, employee relations,
performance management, organization development, and internal communications. She
also will be a member of the Water Products Leadership Team.
"Jane brings
a valuable combination of division and corporate human resources experience to
her new position, and we are please to have her return to Water Products
Company," Ajita Rajendra, president, said in making the announcement.
Sanford
joined A.O. Smith in 2003 as manager of human resources for Water Products
Company. She moved to the company's Milwaukee, WI, World Headquarters in 2005
as corporate director of human resources.
Since
April 2006, she has served as vice president-global human resources and
organizational development, responsible for human resources-related processes
and programs as well as training, leadership development, and succession
planning.
Prior
to A.O. Smith, Sanford was human resources director for Caulkins Indiantown
Citrus Company of Indiantown, FL, and Lenzar Electro-Optics of Palm Beach
Gardens, FL
Sanford
earned a bachelor's degree in business and psychology from Baldwin-Wallace
College, Berea, OH, and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton,
FL.
