Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Co. has entered into an asset purchase agreement to acquire Thompson Plastics Inc., a privately-owned manufacturer of CPVC-CTS pipe and fittings in Huntsville, AL. Thompson provides generic and FlowGuard Gold® CPVC-CTS pipe and fittings for hot and cold water distribution, and also manufacturers BlazeMaster® CPVC Fire Sprinkler Systems.
