The Residential Inspection Institute, to be held March 13-17, 2006, in Austin, TX, offers a step-by-step process for performing effective residential building, mechanical, plumbing and electrical inspections, and offers tips on how to avoid costly mistakes. The institute is cosponsored by the Texas Residential Construction Commission.
Participants will learn the inspection steps vital to confirming that a residence complies with the 2003 International Residential Code. This five-day institute is ideal for residential building, mechanical, plumbing and electrical inspectors, code officials, industry representatives, third-party home inspectors and those preparing to take an ICC residential inspection exam.
In addition to education offered by highly recognized building code and inspection professionals, the Residential Inspection Institute allows attendees to interact, network, gain valuable insight and share experiences with their peers. Participants also can earn continuing education units (CEUs), AIA learning units (LUs) and health, safety and welfare credit (HSW credit). All attendees receive comprehensive manuals to reference during the event and to use as a resource back on the job.
