Turbotec Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of Thermodynetics, Inc., has introduced two new products for applications in heat transfer systems and devices. Turbotec offers tubing products that support a wide array of heat transfer needs, including surface-enhanced tubing, single and double-walled coaxial condensers and evaporators and heat recovery systems. Turbotec has introduced its proprietary process for the manufacture of surface-enhanced titanium tubing and as a first application has produced coaxial coils for spa and swimming pool heating systems. Offering the strength of titanium metal, the tubing protects heating units from highly erosive and corrosive environments typical of pool and spa waters. Turbotec has also developed plastic shell casings for its helical coaxial coils. The plastic shell casings offer a high measure of quality for spa and swimming pool heating systems, allowing for maximum heat transfer, while protecting the unit from erosion and corrosion.
