Product Focus: Flush Valves-American Standard Champion®
December 3, 2004
American Standard now offers its advanced Champion flushing technology on a one-piece toilet and four new two-piece styles. Champion's extra-large 3.5-inch flush valve and the largest siphon trapway diameter in the industry virtually eliminate clogs. This allows Champion's one-piece 1.6 gpf gravity-fed toilets to flush powerfully, quietly and completely. The low-profile one-piece design also enables even more power to be generated from the Flush Tower than in Champion's two-piece styles. The one-piece Flush Tower is shorter and wider, allowing American Standard to expand the flush valve from the three-inch inlet on Champion's two-piece styles. The four new two-piece Champions are created through a combination of three tank styles and two bowl designs that coordinate with American Standard's most popular suites. The Oakmont has 1930s era detailing, making it a logical complement for American Standard's new Retrospect Collection. The Doral Classic has an angular profile with refined lines. The new Doral and Champion Select have a more transitional style that can adapt to a wide variety of design themes.American Standard.
