The oldest home discovered with original copper plumbing tube is in Fort Wayne, IN, and dates to 1937. Its original copper system is still functioning after 67 years. The Copper Development Association is searching for ancient copper installations as part of a 75th anniversary celebrating the first use of copper plumbing tube.
