Rheem Manufacturing Co. has announced that Scott D. Martin has succeeded Gary L. Tapella as president and chief executive officer of the company. In making the announcement, Tapella said he would remain as chairman for an interim period. Martin had recently relocated to Rheem's corporate headquarters to serve as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
