Flowserve's new "plug-and-produce" devices offer the latest in control, automation, advanced diagnostics and communication.

Flowserve Corp. (www.flowserve.com), a leading global manufacturer of fluid motion and control products and services, has announced the launch of new automation and control solutions at the ISA Expo 2003, October 21-23 (booth 2117) at the Reliant Center in Houston, TX. New products and services on exhibit at Flowserve's booth include networking solutions, actuation and control products, positioners and switches, control valves and advanced diagnostic offerings. The controls alliance with Honeywell will also be profiled, demonstrating how Flowserve customers can benefit from process control and device diagnostics all in one. And Flowserve will demonstrate its latest online asset management solution, the Flowstar.net application.

New Flowserve networking solutions include enhanced Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus and Hart interface functionality for a variety of flow control products, including control valves, actuators, and positioners. The new Limitorque Master Station II device controller will also be on display, offering the latest in control and diagnostic functions, with support of up to 250 DDC-100 compliant devices. And the Logix 1400 positioner will be displayed in the Flowserve booth with a live connection to the Honeywell booth. This positioner, along with other Flowserve products, will be on display in the Foundation Fieldbus booth #2227. In addition, new digital and electro-pneumatic positioners and switches, new control valves and features, and other Flowserve product and service innovations will be on display throughout the booth.

Flowstar.net will be demonstrated throughout the show. Featuring sophisticated performance tracking functions, Flowstar.net can provide increased production with reduced maintenance costs through the elimination of weak links and failure points, as well as maintenance forecasting.
