November 11, 2004
Sloan Valve Co. has added to its family of conservation solutions with the Solis™, an electronic, solar-powered faucet that operates via ambient lighting. The Solis faucet incorporates the latest advancements in solar-powered technology and leading-edge electronics to conserve water and energy. Its integrated power plant storage cell transforms light from any source into electrical energy. Batteries provide back-up energy and can last up to 10 years. This single-hole faucet comes standard with integral temperature control, a 0.5 gpm aerator to regulate water flow and an electronic sensor for "hands-free" operation that turns water on and off automatically. The Solis has no moving parts in the waterway, which contributes to its virtually maintenance-free operation. In addition, the sleek, new faucet design comes in a durable chrome finish. Optional trim plates are available. Sloan Valve Co.
