The Viking Corp. has introduced a new 4.9K Residential Pendent Sprinkler and 4.9K Concealed Residential Sprinkler. The 4.9 K-Factor Frame-Style Residential Pendent Sprinkler (VK438) can be installed below smooth, flat, horizontal ceilings and horizontal ceilings with beams up to 14" deep. With excellent flows and pressure through 18' x 18', this UL and c-UL sprinkler can be installed below sloped ceilings with slopes up to and including 8/12 (33.7 degrees) pitch. The 4.9 K-Factor Concealed Residential Sprinkler (also VK438) offers excellent flows and pressures for 12' x 12' through 18' x 18'.
