Web Exclusive--Radiant Heating Systems
April 17, 2003
Zurn Radiant Heating Systems use warm water to transfer heat from its production point (a boiler or water heater) to where it is needed. Radiant heating systems, using cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) tubing, are commonly installed under floors in new construction, but may also be installed in walls or ceilings. Zurn Radiant Heating Systems also simultaneously control air and surface temperatures of the building, helping reduce the heating costs because less heat is wasted through escaping from the building. The systems may also be used in snow and ice melt applications. Zurn Radiant Heating Systems Operation.
