PMEEditorial Director Julius Ballanco visited England in October to receive the Napier Shaw Bronze Medal from the Chartered Institution of Building Service Engineers. The medal was awarded to Ballanco for a paper co-authored with Prof. John Swaffield, titled, "Pressure Surge in Building Utility Services Exacerbated by the Presence of Trapped or Entrained Air," recounting the research involving exploding toilets.
