In an effort to involve the CEOs of various plumbing manufacturers in the workings of the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute (PMI), a special CEO forum was held on the last day of its recent fall meeting in Washington, D.C., focusing on doing business in China.
Michael Colopy, a foreign affairs specialist, suggested that most U.S. companies go into China with a "comfortable ignorance" of foreign cultural norms.
