The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) has rescinded previous decisions to reconsolidate Division 15 specifications under proposed Div. 21 Mechanical. Instead, CSI is moving to break up the scope of the Mechanical Division into separate Plumbing (Div. 20) and HVAC (Div. 21) divisions. The revised MasterFormat is set to be finished in Dec. 2004.
