Fluidmaster, Inc., has appointed Bill Axline executive vice president/chief operating officer. Axline, a 33-year veteran of the hardware industry, joins Fluidmaster after serving as president and CEO for Distribution America, a hardware buying group, since April 2001. Bob Connell, Fluidmaster's current executive vice president/COO, is slated to retire effective Dec. 31.
