BuildPoint Corp., an e-commerce company for the construction industry, has announced a joint sales initiative with construction.com, an online marketplace for construction professionals and part of The McGraw-Hill Companies. As part of the sales campaign for Sweet's, an online specifying and purchasing site, construction.com and BuildPoint will leverage each other's sales forces.
In other BuildPoint news, the company announced the launch of its direct-purchase online catalog for the construction industry. The catalog features 1.6 million items from major manufacturers and suppliers, including WESCO, Turtle & Hughes, Electric Supply Co., Fastenal Co., RMC Group and U.S. Concrete.
