Kreana's new Terra Cotta Vessel Sinks are filled with rich colors of sunflower gold, butter yellow, green olive, rich reds and warm terra cotta. Made 100% by hand from terra cotta, each sink is individually formed and allowed to air dry a few weeks. Then it is fired in a kiln to proper temperature. After this, each sink is hand painted-a process that can take a few days to weeks depending on complexity of artwork. The final step of the process involves applying a thin layer of protective sealant to the sink to make it waterproof and preserve the artwork.
