Laars expands its MagnaTherm boiler/volume water heater line to include 1.6, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and 4 million Btu/hr. sizes. The modulating-condensing systems have 95% thermal efficiency and a 5:1 turndown. The systems also have a small footprint, an advanced VARI-PRIME pump control, slim vertical design with removable top section, a color touchscreen, a stainless-steel heat exchanger and multiple voltage options. It meets all ASME requirements and is AHRI certified. The system has a unique, sealed condensate trap that does not need to be primed at startup, can accommodate up to 100’ of vent and meets the most stringent NOx emission requirements.
