Global public health organization NSF International announced it has tabbed Dr. Tina Yerkes to be its general manager of filtration products.

Yerkes will grow the organization’s testing, auditing and certification services for point-of-use and point-of-energy drinking water treatment and filtration products.

“Tina has a strong background in supporting business unit growth, leading high-performing teams and driving client-focused business innovation,” said Clif McLellan, vice president of NSF International’s Global Water Division.  “She’s a proven leader who is strongly committed to protecting and improving public health and the environment.”

Yerkes has more than 20 years of experience in strategic business-unit operations with an emphasis in water quality issues, wetlands conservation and environmental education. She has led nonprofit organizations with diverse program offerings that drive environmental awareness, research initiatives and conservation.
