After 20 years, ASHRAE has renamed its publication from HVAC&R Research to Science and Technology for the Built Environment. Starting this month, the publication also will expand its scope to include papers on thermal comfort, aircraft ventilation and many other topics.
Future article topics will include indoor environmental quality, occupant health, comfort and productivity, experiments and analysis related to material properties, underlying thermodynamics, refrigerants, fluid dynamics, airflow, and heat and mass transfer, among many others.
