ASHRAE announced it is seeking papers for the group’s 2015 annual conference June 27-July 1 in Atlanta.

Conference chair David Claridge said the 2015 event will focus on design, construction and operation of high-performance buildings.

“Four of the nine tracks in the conference focus on advance design guidance, modeling, operation and optimization, and indoor air quality, which are key aspects of high-performance buildings. (There also is) one track that explicitly considers measured results and other aspects of high-performance buildings,” he said.

Conference paper abstracts are due Sept. 22. Once accepted, papers will be due Jan. 5, 2015, and will undergo a single-blind review. Full technical papers are due Sept. 22 as well and must be both technically accurate and clearly written. Technical papers undergo a double-blind review and will be published in ASHRAE Transactions, the official record of research and technical information of permanent interest and archival value.
