Taco’s Plus Two multipurpose valve is five valves in one and will effectively handle all the discharge operations within a hydronic system. The MPV is a shutoff valve, flow-control valve, non-slam check valve and flow-meeting valve with low-pressure drop. It has the ability to be field-converted from a straight line to a 90° right angle. The MPV is made of ductile iron with stainless steel and bronze-fitted construction. It’s available from 1/2”to 14” with flanged or grooved-end connections. Valves with flanged-end connections are available in 150 or 250 psi configurations, while all grooved units are suitable for up to 300 psi. Threaded options are available up to 2 1/2”.
