Merit Brass adds more valves to its ball valve lines. Merit’s valve offering begins with 1-piece threaded, 2-piece threaded standard and full-port, and 3-piece threaded and socket-weld ball valves; otherwise known as its “V” Series. In 2006, Merit added an additional brand from its high-quality stainless-steel 150# fitting vendor that specializes in valve manufacturing. These ball valves are part of Merit’s “K Series” line. Most recently, Merit complemented its “K” Series line with two-piece flanged-end ball valves. In June 2014, the company will introduce direct-mount flanged-end ball valves. In late July 2014, Merit will complement its “V” Series line with swing-check and gate valves.
