Boshart Industries completes acquisition of Flomatic Corp.

Boshart Industries announced it has completed the acquisition of Flomatic Corp. in a share purchase transaction from Watts Water Technologies. The sale excludes the backflow product line of Flomatic Corp., which was retained by Watts.

Flomatic Corp. is based in Glens Falls, N.Y., and is a leading manufacturer of high-quality valve products for water and wastewater for more than 80 years. The company specializies in check, foot, gate, butterfly and automatic control valves for the water well industry. Flomatic is ISO 9001 and 14001 certified company with comprehensive manufacturing processes with ARRA-compliant and lead-free products.

Gary Boshart, owner of Boshart Industries, said, “This acquisition will only strengthen both companies as we both share the same vision and commitment to excellence.”

No changes are anticipated in the management of either Boshart or Flomatic operations.
