James Voitel
PoolPak International has announced the appointment ofJames Voitelas marketing director to its team of dehumidification specialists. Voitel has gathered much marketing and engineering experience during his more than 20-year career within the HVAC industry. Before joining the PoolPak staff, his most recent positions included product management for York International and a sales engineer for Trane.

Dennis R. Goldrick
Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) has announced thatDennis R. Goldrickhas joined the firm as a vice president and the Department Head of Mechanical Engineering in the Rockville, MD office. Goldrick has over 30 years of experience in HVAC engineering design and construction administration with a strong background in the design of high-tech and commercial office buildings and a wide variety of tenant fit-up specialty applications.

Victor E. Posthas been named VP-Business Development of Briggs Industries, Inc., according to President and CEOWilliam Houlin. In this role, Post will have specific responsibility for determining and driving new business opportunities for Briggs. Post brings experience in product development, sales, marketing and management with previous positions at Gerber, Kohler, Hewlett-Packard, Porter Cable and Nokia. Also,Bart Hamiltonhas joined Briggs as the National Commercial Accounts Manager, according to Bob Robison, VP Sales-Wholesale for the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean. Hamilton's primary responsibility will be to further develop Briggs' growing commercial business among key targets within the hospitality and high-rise construction industries. Hamilton has more than five years of experience in the plumbing industry, including previous managerial positions with Kohler and Rothenberger.

Halsey Taylor has announced the recent appointment ofSpirit Group, Inc.as Sales Representative. Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, Spirit Group, Inc is representing the Halsey Taylor product line of water coolers and drinking fountains throughout Central and South Florida.

Patrick McCarthy
Rapid Rack Industries, Inc., has announced thatPatrick McCarthyis its new national accounts manager. He will report directly to Claude Hayes, executive vice president of Rapid Rack Industries. McCarthy will develop and supervise all national accounts for Rapid Rack's industrial business. Prior to joining Rapid Rack, McCarthy worked as district sales manager with Lyon Workspace Products, was an outside territory manager for Gales Industrial Supply, and a principle owner with L&M and Associates.

Bill Blainehas announced his plans to retire from Elkay, January 15, 2007, after 12 years of service. Blaine joined Elkay as vice president of sales in January, 1995 and was promoted to senior vice president of sales in February, 2004. Blaine also was a member of the board of directors for the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC), American Supply Association (ASA) and the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Information Bureau (PHCIB). Blaine helped Elkay to receive the Supplier of the Year award from both The Home Depot and the C.L. Watt Buying Group. Before joining Elkay, Blaine worked for ten years with U.S. Brass, a division of Eljer, Inc.
