If you design low-temperature hydronic systems, you've probably specified mixing devices to reduce the water temperature supplied by a conventional boiler to that needed by a low-temperature distribution system. Several options are now available for this purpose. In low-temperature radiant heating and snowmelting applications, the two most common are 4-way motorized mixing valves and variable speed injection pumping.
