Two of Elkay Manufacturing Co.'s surgeon's lavatory sinks are in use on the set of NBC's "Third Watch" TV series. "Third Watch" is a weekly drama centered around the crime-fighting and life-saving efforts of New York City police, paramedics and firefighters working the 3-11 p.m. shift. Many scenes take place in a hospital trauma center, for which Elkay provided two stainless steel "ESLV" series surgeon's lavatory sinks, equipped with gooseneck spout and a knee-action mixing valve that eliminates the need for surgeons to manipulate faucet handles with their hands. Elkay also provided a recessed wall-mount drinking fountain for the set.
