Messe Frankfurt, Inc. and Business News Publishing Company (BNP) have reached an agreement for the marketing and promotion of ISH North America.

Messe Frankfurt, Inc., Atlanta, GA, and Business News Publishing Company (BNP), Troy, MI, have reached an agreement for the marketing and promotion of ISH North America. ISH North American is an international conference and trade show set to take place Oct. 31-Nov. 2, 2002, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Under terms of the agreement, Messe Frankfurt, which hosts ISH North America in cooperation with the American Supply Association, the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating and the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association, will use eight BNP trade magazines to market the show to attendees and exhibitors. Services provided by BNP include advertising space, Web site banners and links, direct mail, editorial coverage, and publishing of the ISH Show Directory, Show Dailies and Attendee Seminar Program.

Messe Frankfurt selected eight BNP publications in which to focus its marketing campaign: Plumbing & Mechanical, PM Engineer, Supply House Times, Appliance Manufacturer, Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration News, Engineered Systems, Energy User News and SNIPS. Combined, the circulations of the eight publications comprise nearly 300,000 audited subscribers, with total readership of 900,000.

ISH (International Sanitation & Heating) North American will encompass kitchen and bath, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, appliances, energy management and related technologies. ISH North America has integrated the former NEX trade show formerly organized by the already mentioned industry associations.

ISH North America is patterned after Messe Frankfurt's highly successful trade shows held throughout the world. Currently, Messe Frankfurt holds ISH shows in Germany and China. Messe Frankfurt also owns and manages shows in the lighting and other fields.

The first ISH North America will be held in Toronto's National Trade Centre. The show's goal is to provide the building industry with one consolidated annual event to serve the mutual interests of national and international manufacturers and buyers. These buyers include plumbing and hvac contractors, wholesalers and engineers, kitchen & bath dealers, builders/remodelers, designers and architects, home centers and manufacturer agents.
