The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) announced the launch of its NFPA Americas' Fire Expo.

The three-day event is intended to attract buyers and specifiers of access systems, alarms, consulting, detectors, evacuation equipment, extinguishing equipment, firestops, fire apparatus, halon alternatives, pumps and valves, signaling systems, sprinkler systems, testing services and more, from the Southeast U.S., Latin America and the Carribean Basin.

NFPA Americas' Fire Expo will be produced in concert with the 7th annual Americas' Security Expo (ASE) at the Miami Beach Convention Center, July 24-26, 2001. ASE attracts approximately 4,000 security professionals representing nearly every country in the Western Hemisphere.

The NFPA Americas' Fire Expo will include an exhibition and comprehensive, multi-lingual technical problem addressing codes, standards and general guidance on fire, electrical and life safety issues.
