Sloan Valve Co. recently received the 2004 Water Conservation Award for Excellence from the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA) for creation and marketing of the company's new Waterfree Urinal Brochure.

Sloan was presented with the "Best in Class" honor in the "Conservation Marketing Private Agency" category by the North Miami Beach Public Service Department at the FSAWWA Annual Awards ceremony held at the Caribe Royale All-Suites Hotel in Orlando.

Sloan's new color brochure incorporates photos and diagrams that illustrate the operation of the company's Waterfree Urinals, which are designed to help architects, engineers, contractors and building owners achieve their water conservation goals. The literature highlights several features of the Waterfree Urinals, including touch-free hygienic operation, vandal-resistance due to elimination of the flush valve, minimal cleaning, easy maintenance, elimination of odors and convenient adaptation to existing drain outlets.
