Radiant heating has never been easier.

REHAU's dry panel system offers high performance.

Innovation has been central to REHAU's corporate mission since the company was founded in 1948 in Rehau, Germany. REHAU has become a global leader in polymer processing technologies by continuing to push the industry forward with new products.

One of REHAU's latest innovations is the RAUPANEL(TM) system for radiant heating. Consisting of 3/8" RAUPEX(R) cross-linked polyethylene (PEXa) pipe, aluminum panels and wood return bends, its low 5/8" profile has a minimal impact on floor height. Its lower mass means it responds quickly to water temperature changes, and the aluminum-intensive construction has excellent heat transfer properties. These features allow for decreased water temperatures, boosting the system's efficiency.

The RAUPANEL system has advantages over traditional "wet" systems that use poured concrete or thin slab installations. For example, because it requires less job site preparation and fewer framing adaptations, retrofitting a building can be easier than with a more traditional system. It is also compatible with all commonly used floor coverings, including carpet, hardwood and ceramic tile.

REHAU's RAUPANEL system provides quick and effective installation. Flexible pipe spacing (6" or 8" on-center) makes it well suited to a variety of installations. It also eliminates the overpour often used in radiant systems. Installation time is further reduced by the system's lighter weight, which eliminates the need for added structural support.

In addition to radiant floor heating, REHAU has several products for the residential and commercial construction markets, such as fire protection, PEX plumbing, and snow and ice melting. The company has the expertise and versatility to cater to a diverse customer base--from small businesses to major corporations.
