Bob Miodonski

Bob Miodonski is group publisher of PM Engineer, joining the staff in August 2007. Previously, he was publisher and editorial director of Contractor Magazine since 2002, and chief editor since 1994.

At points in his journalistic career, Miodonski served as Supply House Times' managing editor and then editorial director. He worked with George Zebrowski, Jim Olsztynski and Scott Franz at the former Horton Publishing Co., where both Supply House Times and Plumbing & Mechanical were started.

Miodonski is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. He also holds a master's degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, where he served on the graduate school faculty as a part-time instructor.

Mike Miazga

Senior Editor Mike Miazga joined the PM Engineer staff in February 2010. A 17-year veteran of the publishing industry, Miazga is an accomplished editor, feature writer, news reporter and columnist. His experience includes daily newspapers, sports magazines, public/media relations and related e-media such as Web sites and e-newsletters.

Miazga, also a former high school baseball and golf coach, most recently was the editor of two niche sports magazines from 2003-2009.

Miazga handles new products, news and features for the magazine. He is also senior editor of sister publication Plumbing & Mechanical.

Julius Ballanco, P.E., CPD, F-ASPE

Julius Ballanco, P.E., is Editorial Director of PM Engineer and president of J.B. Engineering and Code Consulting, P.C. in Munster, IN. Prior to starting J.B. Engineering, he served as head of plumbing and mechanical engineering for Building Officials and Code Administrators International, one of the organizations that formed the International Code Council (ICC). His engineering consulting work includes the design of plumbing, mechanical and fire-protection systems; forensic engineering; training; and serving numerous manufacturers in different capacities. In addition, Ballanco is the current president of ASPE and a member of both ICC and IAPMO.

Suzette Rubio

Suzette Rubio is the online editor for PM Engineer. She also works on Plumbing & Mechanical, Supply House Times, Radiant & Hydronics and Bath & Kitchen Pro, keeping the magazines' Web sites updated with daily news, Web exclusives and digital editions, as well as monthly issue items. She joined the staff in the summer of 2005 as Supply House Times' associate editor.

Her experience includes a stint as assistant editor at Mintel International, as well as working on In the Field, a publication of the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago.
