Hydraulic Institute begins variable speed drive webinar series Jan. 13

The Hydraulic Institute and Pump Systems Matter announce the kick-off of their first webinar series for 2012. A four-part webinar series on variable speed drives will begin on Jan. 13, 2012. Variable speed drives in pump systems are now a mature technology that, in correct applications, can generate large benefits to the user in cost savings and reliability improvements.

Following is the schedule for the Variable Speed Drives webinar series:

  • Session 1: Intro 101, Jan. 13, 1:00-2:00 p.m. EST

  • Session 2: Application and Installation Considerations, Jan. 20, 1:00-2:00 p.m. EST

  • Session 3: Protection for VFD and Proper Output, Jan. 27, 1:00-2:00 p.m. EST

  • Session 4: Troubleshooting Problems with VFDs, Feb. 3, 1:00-2:00 p.m. EST


Advance registration is required and HI members receive a 25% discount on the regular registration fee. Participants of the VSD webinar series may earn up to four PDH credits.
