A. O. Smith awarded two winners with scholarships for $2,500 for students pursuing plumbing-heating-cooling related studies. The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) Educational Foundation administers the scholarship program and is responsible for selecting the award winners. The scholarship program is designed to attract the new talent essential to the future of the plumbing and HVACR industry.
Adam
Andrewjeski
of Las Vegas, Nev.
is enrolling at the University
of California Berkeley to
pursue a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Paul
Osborne
of Arlington, Texas, is currently enrolled in the PHCC of Texas four-year
plumbing apprentice program, with an expected graduation in March 2013.
To
qualify for a $2,500 scholarship, students must submit a detailed application
including a letter of recommendation from an active member of the PHCC—National
Association and enroll in a plumbing-heating-cooling related course of study or
apprentice program.
